Fitness Friday: Sign Up For a 5K or 10K

It’s Fitness Friday!  Today’s tip comes from IRONMAN triathlete, Ben Gilliam.

Everyone should sign up for a 5 or 10k road race to use it as motivation to run and eat correctly. I can’t count how many people I’ve met who just went crazy and signed up for a race and was hooked on trying to beat their fastest time! Wham!!!

If you’re looking to start running, try a program like Couch-to-5k.  It’s perfect for beginners.
